Over 12 months, average desktop position improved from 24.8 to 15.7 and click-through rate rose 32%. Impressions fell 38.1%, so clicks still dropped 18.5%. That table doesn’t say the SEO is failing. It says search demand is shrinking. To hold revenue, conversion rate has to grow 22.7%, so the next phase of the work is on the page.
